I have a following announcement to make:

Faroese Stamps director visiting Estonia!

Thursday 7th of July will be a very special day for philatelists in Estonia. The exhibition “Baltica 2011” will open up, and lots of philatelists are expected to visit the event to express and nourish their mutual interest for stamps. Faroese Stamps Director, Ms. Svanbjørg Manai will pay the exhibition a visit, to show her interest for Estonian stamps, and also to show Estonia a bit of the Faroese philately culture.

Svanbjørg Manai has worked with Faroese stamps for 35 years and is a real stamps enthusiast and veteran. She shares her passion along with 20,000 other Faroese stamps collectors.

During her visit at the exhibition, Svanbjørg will arrange for a draw in which visitors of the “Baltica 2011” can win a round-trip to the Faroe Islands. All you need to do to participate in the draw is to pay Svanbjørg a visit and vote for your favourite Faroese stamp of the year 2011!

The location of the exhibition is changed to Tallinna Kalevi sports hall.

There also available the exhibition’s timetable, where tho most important dates are following:

10.04.2011 – Deadline to deliver participation application to exhibition committee.

22.05.2011 – The exhibits in literature class must be received by exhibition committee.

20.06.2011 – Exhibits delivered by post have to be received by exhibition committee.

05.07.2011 – Exhibits can be delivered by hand.
