Leiutajateküla asub suure mere ääres. See on niisugune küla, kus aasta kõige tähtsamal päeval, Leiutajatepäeval, toimub uute leiutiste võistlus. Terve pika ja külma talve mõtlevad küla parimad leiutajad välja uusi leiutisi, mida siis Leiutajatepäeval külarahvale demonstreerida.
Leiutajatekülas elab ka väike ja energiline koeratüdruk Lotte, kellele ilmselgelt jääb väheks 24 tunnist ööpäevas. Sest kohe tuleb ju ära õppida varvastega vilistamine, leida mere põhjast üles mereröövlite varandus, tõmmata nöör kahe korstna vahele ja ära õppida köielkõndimine. Ja oma parimate sõpradega, kassipoeg Bruno ja jänesepoeg Albertiga on vaja keksu, luuremängu ja jalgpalli mängida.
Gadgetville lies close by the sea. It is a village where a competition on new gadgets takes place on the most important day of the year, Inventor’s Day. During the long and cold winter the best inventors of the village invent new gadgets to demonstrate them to the folks in the village on Inventor’s Day. One of Gadgetville’s residents is Lotte, a small but energetic little puppy girl, for whom the 24 hours in a day are clearly not enough. It is because she immediately has to learn to whistle by means of the tows of her feet, find the pirates’ treasure from the bottom of the sea, pull up a rope between two chimneys and learn to walk on it. And then it is necessary to play hopscotch, tracking and soccer with her best friends, the kitten Bruno and the bunny Albert.

Das Erfinderdorf befindet sich am Meer. In diesem Dorf findet am wichtigsten Tag des Jahres, dem Erfindertag, ein Wettbewerb neuer Erfindungen statt. Den ganzen lagen und kalten Winter denken sich die besten Erfinder Neues aus, was dann am Erfindertag dem Volk gezeigt wird.
Im Erfinderdorf lebt auch eine kleine und energische Hundestochter Lotte, der bestimmt 24 Stunden im Tag zu wenig sind. Denn sofort muss gelernt werden, wie man mit Zehen pfeifen kann, am Meeresboden Piratenschätze findet, eine Schnur zwischen zwei Schornsteinen zieht und das Seilgehen beherrscht. Und mit ihren besten Freunden, dem Katsenjungen Bruno und dem Hasenjungen Albert muß gehopst und Fußball gespielt werden.
