Brasiilia - sel ajal juba peaaegu 100 aastat iseseisev riik - tunnustas Eesti Vabariigi iseseisvust 5. detsembril 1921. Käesoleval 2021. aastal möödub seega sada aastat Eesti Vabariigi ja Brasiilia Liitvabariigi vaheliste diplomaatiliste suhete loomisest. Aastate jooksul on meie suhted muutunud tihedamaks, mida näitab koostöö erinevates valdkondades ning kultuuri- ja sotsiaalsed sidemed.
Eesti ja Brasiilia ühisväljaandena ilmuvad postmargid tähistavad riikidevaheliste diplomaatiliste suhete 100. aastapäeva. Margil on kujutatud maailmakuulsa arhitekti Oscar Niemeyeri kavandatud Itamaraty palee Brasílias, kus asub sealne välisministeerium ja Eesti välisministeeriumi hoone Tallinnas, arhitektid Mart Port, Raine Karp, Uno Tölpus ja Olga Kontšajeva. Kuigi kahe maja vahel on rohkem kui 10 500 km, siis lisaks headele suhetele ühendab neid ka ümbritsev rohelus ja kaunis keskkond, millele leiab vihjeid postmarkide kujundustelt. Värviküllane ja rõõmsameelne disain sümboliseerib riikide mitmekihilisi kultuure ja rikkalikku loodust. Pidulikku meeleolu lisavad postmarkidele ka elavaloomulise samba rütmis lainetavad lipud.
Estonian-Brazilian joint issue.
Brazil, already independent nation for almost 100 years at that time, recognized the independence of the Republic of Estonia on December 5, 1921. This year, 2021, is therefore one hundred years since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Estonia and Federative Republic of Brazil. Over the years, our relationship has grown closer, as demonstrated by cooperation in various fields as well as by cultural and social ties.
Estonia and Brazil are jointly issuing stamps to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between the two countries. The stamp features the Itamaraty Palace in Brasília which was designed by the world-famous architect Oscar Niemeyer and houses the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Brazil, as well as the building of the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Tallinn, designed by the architects Mart Port, Raine Karp, Uno Tölpus, and Olga Kontšajeva.Even though the two buildings are separated by more than 10,500 km, they are connected, in addition to the warm relations, by their green and beautiful surroundings, which are referred to in the design of the stamps. The colourful and joyous design symbolises the multi-layered cultures and the rich nature of the countries. The national flags waving in the lively samba rhythm add to the festive mood of the stamps.
Gemeinsame estnisch-brasilianische Ausgabe von Briefmarken.
Brasilien – damals schon für fast 100 Jahre ein unabhängiger Staat – erkannte die Unabhängigkeit der Republik Estland am 5. Dezember 1921 an. 2021 sind also 100 Jahre seit der Begründung diplomatischer Beziehungen zwischen der Republik Estland und der Bundesrepublik Brasilien vergangen. Im Laufe der Jahre sind unsere Beziehungen enger geworden, dies zeigen die Zusammenarbeit in verschiedenen Bereichen sowie die kulturellen und sozialen Beziehungen.
Die als gemeinsame Ausgabe von Estland und Brasilien erscheinenden Briefmarken erinnern an den 100. Jahrestag der Etablierung diplomatischer Beziehungen zwischen beiden Staaten. Auf der Briefmarke wird das vom weltberühmten Architekten Oscar Niemeyer entworfene Itamaraty-Palais in Brasília, Sitz des dortigen Außenministeriums, und das Gebäude des estnischen Außenministeriums in Tallinn abgebildet, dessen Architekten Mart Port, Raine Karp, Uno Tölpus und Olga Kontšajeva waren. Obwohl zwischen beiden Gebäuden mehr als 10.500 km liegen, vereinen sie zusätzlich zu den guten Beziehungen auch die umgebenden Grünflächen und die schöne Umwelt, wofür Sie Hinweise bei der Gestaltung der Briefmarken finden. Das farbenfrohe und fröhliche Design symbolisiert die mehrschichtigen Kulturen und die reiche Natur beider Staaten. Eine festliche Stimmung verleihen den Briefmarken auch die im lebendigen Samba-Rhythmus wehenden Flaggen.
