The Estonian yacht Lennuk completed the first successful attempt to sail around the world in a yacht flying the Estonian flag. On her 520-day voyage the 44-foot Lennuk covered nearly 35,000 miles with stops in 36 ports in 25 countries in an effort to promote the revival of Estonia's sailing traditions and make Estonia better known in the world. News and photographs from aboard the yacht reached the Estonian press via a satellite Internet link throughout the voyage. More information:
