Eesti Post : Estonian radio broadcasting, 75th anniversary

December 18, 1926, the first radio station came on the air in Tallinn, is regarded as the beginning of regular radio broadcasting in Estonia. In the early years, the radio was inseparable from the pleasant and clear voice of Felix Moor, founder of all radio genres in Estonia. The radio developed at a fast pace, and thanks to a 196.6-meter transmission mast - built in the central Estonian town of Türi in 1937, ensured good quality reception throughout Central Europe on medium waves.

The stamp features the house in Tallinn where the first radio studio was housed, with Felix Moor's outline portrait on the right.
