Amur long-tailed goral (Naemorhedus caudatus raddeanus) This species once inhabited the mountainous regions between the lower reaches of the Amur River and the Yellow Sea. Today scarcely a thousand specimens can be found in a few fragmented habitats scattered over the Sikhote-Alini mountains, Korean peninsula and north-eastern China. The growing impact of human activity has sped up the decline of this rare species. Gorals are deft climbers. They feed on grasses, shoots, acorns, etc. Usually they stay in the same area and do not easily undertake any migration.
